THATcamp

I just came across some mentions on the ProfHacker site about THATcamp (The Humanities and Technology camp), a plethora of  self-organizing get-togethers around themes. There's one at George Mason next month around the theme of "History and New Media" (registration now capped at 150).  Sounds like folks are staying at a motel and meeting in a research center, not in tents!  Have you ever taken part in, or organized, a THATcamp?
